Keys are lost and cards are forged, but fingerprints are unique and permanent, Sagem has designed the MorphoAccess™ terminal to confirm identity by taking advantage of the unique qualities of each person's fingerprint pattern.

The unit can be programmed to grant access via I.D. confirmation with a central server or locally on the unit. In either configuration, verification of identity triggers the facility's door strike to allow entry. To further ensure security, the unit also can be configured to operate with a token such as a proximity card.

Sagem introduces the weatherised version of the unit, the Outdoor MorphoAccess™ (OMA) which has been developed specifically for outdoor applications and includes a ruggedized/weather-resistant case. This unit comprises all of the features and options available with the indoor model.

The OMA includes the Sagem algorithms for optimising image quality and fingerprint processing (MorphoSoft™ & Morphoimaging™).

Applications
• Easily integrated in access control and time and attendance systems
• Plug and Play solution for existing systems.

Software
The OMA does not require any software development. It is delivered with an application that can be easily customised.
