The MorphoSmart™ 1300 is a compact optic biometric trusted device with enhanced security features. With its optic technology and its large scanning area, the MorphoSmart™ 1300 reaches a high level of performance and robustness. The surface of the scanner is designed to optimise fingerprint reading. As such, it is ideal for a broad range of enrolment, authentication and identification applications.
Furthermore, it offers local matching on the terminal or remote matching on a host server. The host system provides security by encrypting data and checking data integrity. It can be customised using a Software Development Kit (SDK). Whether used for off-the-shelf enrolment or in custom-made applications, the MorphoSmart™ 1300 offers a flexible, low-cost solution for fast and secure processing of quality fingerprint images.

Key features

Software Integration:
The MorphoSmart™ 1300 family range is intended for PC-based applications. Thanks to its SDK, it can interface with any type of host application. Moreover a BIOAPI compliant software suite is also available.

Security:
The module captures, processes and matches fingerprints internally, thereby increasing security. In addition, it can be configured in two security operating modes, allowing data integrity check by me host (by way of a digital signature) or exchange encrypted data (using secure tunnelling). These mechanisms rely on PKI infrastructure technology: each device is loaded with its own X.509 certificate and the biometric templates are encapsulated in an X9.84 token.
Biometric features:
The MorphoSmart™ 1300 is an unmatched device that offers in a very small volume the ability to both verify (1:1) and identify (1:N) people on a database of around 1000 templates. Verification or identification takes less than 1 second.
